Norwalk : Connecticut

Norwalk is a city in Fairfield County, in the Bridgeport-Stamford metro area and the sixth largest city of Connecticut. The name is derived from Algonquin word “noyank” meaning “point of land”, or its Native American name, “Naramauke” (or Norwauke, Norowake, or Norwaake), a Native American chief.
Norwolk was named the Oyster Town because of its farming of oysters.
